Ryder Cup

Reaffirming its long-standing ties to the sport, Loro Piana supported the 2025 edition of the Ryder Cup, held at the iconic golfing destination Bethpage Black Course in the United States of America. A prestigious team contest in the world of golf, the competition reflects the Maison’s commitment to spontaneity and authenticity: enjoying the active life with innate passion. It served as a platform for the House to consolidate its long-standing values – its pursuit of active elegance and perfection, and its spirit of perseverance.

An open-air laboratory 

The active, outdoor life is truly a way of being and of dressing. Since 2016, when Loro Piana started creating the official uniforms for Team Europe, the Ryder Cup has proved to be an open-air laboratory – a unique occasion to test state-of-the-art fabrics in the field in a variety of conditions. The House’s aim has been to bring a sense of active elegance to golfing ensembles: timeless design, a signature touch, fine workmanship, and exceptional performance.

A refined golfing uniform

The 2025 Ryder Cup uniforms were realised in close collaboration with Luke Donald, Team Captain of the Ryder Cup’s Team Europe – resulting in effortless creations that allow for unrestricted movement and a skilful swing. In parallel to the official uniforms, Loro Piana also crafted a Golf Capsule dedicated to golf enthusiasts, fusing sophistication with versatility and a sportive feel. Rendered in a distinctive palette of white, beige, and navy, with a touch of the House’s signature Kummel colour, the garments were made with performance at their core while highlighting natural golfing movements with elegance and style. They included essential separates, along with a reversible iteration of the Loro Piana Bomber.
